GIZA cotton is particularly soft, supple and durable. It is the best extra-long staple cotton and accounts for only 0.5% of total Egyptian production, which in turn accounts for only 0.5% of global cotton production!
It is hand-harvested at the ideal ripeness, in contrast to conventionally grown cotton, which is harvested in a single, machine-operated process. It grows in the very fertile alluvial soil of the eastern Nile Delta.
